My Story

I’m Wyatt Barnes, a passionate mechanical engineer with an eye for innovative design and problem-solving. Thanks for coming to take a look at experiences during my mechanical engineering degree. I strive to apply my knowledge and skills in my next position.

CNC Machining

I worked extensively with CNC machines while attending UNCC, developing G-code from solidworks models.

Many of the parts used for the brakes on the battery cart project were created using CNC technology.

Manual Machining

I am confident in my machining abilities and using tools in a standard machine shop. I have used these skills in my projects as well as in my hobbies.

Prototyping & Testing

Adept at creating prototypes and conducting rigorous testing, I ensure my designs meet the highest standards of reliability and safety.
